How it works
Saber Milk sensors attach in-line with your long milk tube at each bail. Saber Milk’s auto start function means that there are no buttons to push or switches to pull. Saber Milk simply recognises that milk flow has started and accurately measures the volume produced.
Saber Milk utilizes ‘full-flow measuring technology’ meaning that milk flow is not disrupted due to complex moving parts or flow restrictions. Having no moving parts or wetted components eliminates the risk of costly and frustrating breakdowns.
Historical data for individual cows is tracked and trends can be identified. Individual animal data can be compared against herd averages to identify those cows which are producing the most, or least.
Since we’ve got the Saber Milk sensors in we no longer herd test. It’s getting done everyday for us. We don’t have the hassle or the cost of doing the herd testing three times per year. It’s such a simple system.
